The Pro plan unlocks Cloud Sync so your settings, notes, and transcripts stay in sync across devices.

Overview

Cloud Sync keeps your Vowen configuration synchronized across multiple devices using your own cloud storage provider. Your data stays in your own account. Vowen never stores it on our servers.

Devices and Licensing

A single Pro plan provides one license key, which can be activated on up to three devices. Cloud Sync mirrors your data between any of those activated devices, so every device participating in sync needs to be on the same Pro license. Both devices also need to be signed in to the same cloud storage account (iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive). If one device is syncing through iCloud and another through Google Drive, they won’t see each other’s data. Pick one provider and connect every device to that same account.

Audio files and local model downloads are NOT synced (too large). Only metadata and text content syncs.

Setup

Open Sync Settings

Go to Settings > Sync.

Choose Provider

Select your preferred cloud storage provider.

Authenticate

Sign in with your cloud storage account (OAuth flow, so Vowen never sees your password).

Configure What Syncs

Choose whether to include history, meeting notes, and manual transcriptions.

Initial Sync

Vowen performs an initial sync to upload your current configuration.

Conflict Resolution

When the same setting is changed on two devices before syncing, Vowen uses intelligent conflict resolution to merge changes. In most cases, the most recent change wins.

Privacy

  • Data is stored in your own cloud storage account
  • Vowen has no access to your cloud files beyond the sync folder
  • You can disconnect sync at any time
